WHY BESPOKE EXISTS
Replacement is not always the answer.
Many existing kitchens are fundamentally well made, yet no longer feel right for the home around them.
The layout may work, while the colour, hardware, surfaces, lighting and individual details no longer feel resolved. Cabinetry may need repair, realignment or selective remaking rather than wholesale replacement.
Bespoke developed from specialist cabinetry refinishing into a design-led studio that plans and coordinates the kitchen as a whole. That technical foundation remains central: we understand how kitchens are made, where change will have the greatest impact and how each specialist element must come together.

CABINETRY & TECHNICAL DIRECTION
Drew Roberts
Good design depends on understanding how a kitchen is made.
Drew brings more than 15 years of cabinetry and carpentry experience, together with 10 years of specialist spray-finishing expertise.

He assesses the construction and condition of each kitchen, identifies what should be retained, repaired or remade, and oversees the technical detailing, selected joinery, finish standards, installation and final alignment.

DESIGN & DIRECTION
Beth Roberts
The kitchen is considered as part of the wider interior.
With a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Beth leads the design direction, project planning and client experience for each project.

She considers colour, materials, light and proportion; the relationship between cabinetry, hardware, worktops, tiles, lighting and surrounding finishes; and how each decision will sit within the wider home.
These choices are then developed into a clear specification and coordinated project plan.

OUR CARDIFF STUDIO & WORKSHOP
Design decisions grounded in technical understanding.
Our Cardiff workshop and CNC capability allow us to assess, repair, adapt or selectively remake cabinetry components where the existing kitchen needs more than refinishing alone.
Specialist finishes are completed to the agreed specification and checked against the wider scheme before refitting. Keeping design and technical oversight connected allows potential problems to be resolved early and every detail to be considered as part of the whole.
STUDIO VISITS BY APPOINTMENT
See the decisions together before work begins.
Paint cards alone rarely show how colour will respond to a door profile, sheen, worktop or hardware finish.

At the studio, we can compare sprayed samples, cabinetry details and material combinations together—allowing the direction to be resolved before the programme of work begins.

“Beth and Drew were great at every stage. They translated the feeling we were after into thoughtful colour and design suggestions—the kitchen now feels genuinely bespoke.”
