Frequently Asked Questions
Do you spray on-site or in a workshop?
All cabinetry and furniture are taken to our Cardiff workshop where they’re prepped and sprayed in a controlled environment. This ensures a durable, high-quality finish. Anything that cannot be removed — such as fixed end panels, mantels, or large built-ins — is expertly sprayed on-site by our team.

What paints do you use?
We use industrial-grade coatings, colour matched to brands such as Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, and Lick, giving a durable finish beyond standard household paints.
How long does a kitchen respray take?
Most kitchens take 7–10 working days from collection to reinstallation. Smaller furniture and joinery pieces can often be turned around faster.
Can you work with flat-pack or new kitchens?
Yes — if you’re ordering a new kitchen, we can spray it before it’s fitted.
We regularly work alongside joiners and kitchen fitters, refinishing components in our workshop before installation to ensure a consistent, durable finish from the outset.
Do you offer colour consultations?
Yes — through our collaboration with award-winning interior designer Louise Misell, clients can book a bespoke consultation to help choose the perfect shade for their space.

Can I visit your workshop?
Yes — visits are welcome by appointment.
Our Cardiff studio is where all removable components are prepared and spray finished, so it’s a good opportunity to see the process, finishes, and examples of our work in person.
How much does it cost to refinish a kitchen?
Most kitchens typically fall between £2,500–£6,000+, depending on size, condition and specification.
Every project is different, so we provide a detailed quote based on your kitchen, including the total cost with VAT clearly shown.
For a more detailed breakdown of how pricing works — including what affects cost and real project examples — you can read our 2026 cost guide here.
Do you work with trade clients?
Absolutely — we partner with joiners, carpenters, and designers across South Wales, providing precision spray finishing for cabinetry, wardrobes, and interiors.
Will the finish last?
Yes — our specialist cabinet coatings are hard-wearing and designed for everyday kitchen use, including normal cooking humidity and steam.

Is my kitchen suitable for refinishing?
We focus on well-made kitchens where the structure is sound. Solid timber, veneered cabinetry and quality joinery respond best. If the underlying build isn’t worth keeping, we’ll be honest about that early on.
Can you respray vinyl-wrapped doors?
Yes — we offer full vinyl removal and respray, giving tired or peeling kitchens a brand-new, long-lasting finish.

How do I get a quote?
Simply fill in our enquiry form with wide-angle photos of your project, or email us directly. We’ll send you a tailored quote within 5 working days.
Do you offer staining/gel staining/ darkening wood?
No - we specialise in spray-applied finishes (paint and lacquer systems) for a clean, consistent result.
Staining and colour matching natural wood tones is best handled by a dedicated French polisher.
Can you repair or replace damaged doors?
Yes — where respraying alone isn’t the right solution, we can repair or replace individual doors and components. With a background in carpentry, access to trusted local joiners, and our own CNC capability, we’re able to recreate doors accurately so any new pieces sit seamlessly alongside the existing kitchen once finished.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a deposit secures your booking in our schedule, with the balance due on completion.
How far in advance are you booked?
We typically book several weeks to months ahead, as we take on a limited number of projects each month to maintain quality.
What is priority scheduling?
Priority scheduling is available for projects where timing is critical. These bookings are scheduled first within our diary and protected from delays caused by overruns elsewhere. Availability is limited and offered selectively — we’ll advise at enquiry stage if this option is suitable for your project.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
We’re a VAT-registered business, and all quotes clearly show the total cost including VAT.
For transparency, VAT is itemised within the quote — but the figure you see is the full amount payable, so you can make decisions with complete clarity.
Can you update handles or make small changes at the same time?
Yes — we can incorporate light-touch updates such as new hardware or minor adjustments where appropriate.
We can fill existing holes and re-drill for new handle positions, allowing for a cleaner, more considered layout. We also hold trade accounts with Corston, Hendel & Hendel and Plank, so can source hardware for you if needed.
Any additional work is quoted separately depending on the scope.
