Bespoke Walnut & Ammonite Kitchen

We recently had the pleasure of working alongside Adam Farmer Bespoke Fitted Furniture on this beautifully crafted, fully bespoke kitchen in Cardiff. A project that perfectly demonstrates how thoughtful design, skilled joinery and specialist spray finishing combine to create a refined, timeless space.

The handcrafted cabinetry, made from solid oak and finished in a rich walnut stain, was protected with a durable clear coat to enhance and preserve the natural depth, warmth and grain of the timber. This clear finish ensures long-term protection while allowing the craftsmanship, texture and character of the wood to take centre stage.

In contrast to the natural timber elements, the main cabinetry and structural features were professionally spray finished in Farrow & Ball – Ammonite.

This soft, contemporary neutral adds a calm, understated elegance to the space, balancing the warmth of the walnut tones with a modern, minimalist softness. Ammonite is a versatile colour that works beautifully in both light-filled and intimate spaces, making it an ideal choice for a high-end bespoke kitchen.

From the clean lines of the bespoke kitchen island to the seamless drawers and shelving, every detail in this project has been meticulously considered and executed. The finished result is a cohesive, functional and visually striking kitchen that reflects the client’s lifestyle while remaining timeless in its design.
