From Dated Cream to Timeless Green: A Vert De Terre Kitchen Respray in Church Village, Llantrisant

When these homeowners got in touch with us from Church Village, Llantrisant, they didn’t even have their keys yet — but they already had their renovation planned and their kitchen respray booked in with Bespoke Spray Shop. It’s one of the best ways to start a home transformation: by planning ahead, everything was ready to go the moment they moved in.

The Brief

The existing kitchen layout worked well, but the dated cream units made the space feel tired and uninspiring. The clients wanted to keep the solid cabinetry but elevate the look with a softer, design-led finish — something elegant, modern and full of character.

The Process

Once the keys were handed over, our Cardiff-based team got to work. Every door and drawer was professionally removed, deep-cleaned, sanded, and sprayed in our carbon-filtered spray booth using a specialist acid-catalyst paint system for maximum durability. The fixed panels and end gables were sprayed on site, ensuring a seamless, factory-quality finish.

The chosen colour, Vert De Terre by Farrow & Ball, is a serene green-grey that balances warmth and sophistication. Paired with new wood-effect worktops and classic white subway tiles, it completely redefines the kitchen’s tone — calm, timeless and beautifully understated.

The Result

The transformation speaks for itself. What was once a dated cream kitchen now feels premium, bespoke, and full of depth. The subtle green cabinetry enhances natural light and creates a welcoming atmosphere — perfectly suited to the character of this Church Village home.

The project showcases how a professional kitchen respray can deliver a designer-quality finish without the cost or waste of a full replacement.
