If you’re considering refinishing your kitchen, joinery or furniture, you’re likely weighing up a few options — from replacement, to DIY painting, to professional spray finishing.
At Bespoke Spray, we offer a very particular kind of service. Our approach is controlled, workshop-based, and centred around preparation and finish quality — designed for clients who value consistency, detail, and a considered end result.
This guide is here to help you decide whether our approach is the right fit for your project.

The kind of clients we work with
Our clients typically have well-made kitchens, bespoke joinery or quality furniture — and want the finish to feel intentional, not simply refreshed.
They care about the finer details:
Clean edges and a consistent sheen
Durable coatings suited to real family life
A finish that complements the rest of the home
An organised, well-managed service from start to finish
Many of our projects involve homes where the cabinetry is structurally sound, but the finish feels tired, dated, yellowed, marked, or simply no longer suits the space.
What our clients value most
1) A considered result (not just a colour change)
A respray can completely transform a room — but the best results feel designed, not just decorated.
Our clients tend to have a clear sense of the direction they want: calm neutrals, deeper heritage tones, soft greens, warm whites — and they want the finished kitchen or joinery to feel cohesive with the style of the home.
2) A controlled workshop process
Most of our refinishing work takes place in our dedicated spray environment. This is important, because it allows for:
More consistent preparation
Controlled conditions for spraying
Reduced disruption in your home
A smoother, more refined sprayed finish
Fixed elements are refinished on-site with careful protection and masking, typically completed within a day to minimise disruption.
3) Durability for everyday use
A kitchen isn’t a showroom — it has to stand up to everyday life.
We use a layered refinishing system designed for kitchens and joinery, including:
Thorough cleaning and detailed preparation
High-adhesion primer system
Specialist acid-catalyst topcoat (moisture- and heat-resistant)
This approach is selected to support durability, colour stability, and a finish that continues to look exceptional over time — even with everyday family use.
4) Detail and consistency
Our clients notice the difference between “painted” and professionally refinished.
They value a finish that looks clean, even and consistent — across all doors, drawer fronts, panels and trim — and they understand that preparation standards are what make the difference in the final result.
Projects we’re best suited to
Bespoke Spray is best suited to projects where the cabinetry is well-made — and where the finish quality matters.
You’re likely a great fit if:
Your kitchen, joinery or furniture is structurally sound, but the finish feels tired, dated or no longer suits the space
You’re looking for a refined, consistent sprayed finish — not simply a change of colour
You value careful preparation and a considered, design-led result
You’d like the majority of the work completed in a controlled workshop environment, with minimal disruption at home
You want durability suited to everyday use, cleaning, and family life
If you’re unsure whether your project is suitable, you can send over a few photos — we’re always happy to advise.
Thinking about colour?
Many clients come to us with a direction in mind, but want reassurance around tone and undertone before committing.
If you’d like professional guidance before choosing your final shade, we offer an optional colour consultation with interior designer Louise Misell, available exclusively to Bespoke Spray Studio clients.
For an additional fee of £250, Louise provides a one-hour consultation and a tailored colour recommendation based on your space, lighting and existing finishes.
Next steps
If you’d like a quotation, the best way to begin is to send over a few photos.
