A lovely kitchen in a beautiful barn conversion in Bonvilston — carefully refined rather than replaced. We refinished the existing cabinetry in Vert de Terre, updated the lighting, replaced the original square handles with Corston Milliner handles in Antique Brass, and adjusted poorly fitted doors to give the whole kitchen a softer, warmer and more considered finish.

This project focused on the refinement of a kitchen within a beautiful barn conversion in Bonvilston.
Rather than replacing the existing cabinetry, we worked with what was already there — using our design consultation to guide the colour, hardware, lighting and overall finish so the kitchen felt softer, warmer and more considered.
The cabinetry was professionally refinished in Vert de Terre, a gentle green neutral chosen to sit naturally with the stone flooring, existing worktops and character of the space. The original awkward square handles were replaced with Corston Milliner handles in Antique Brass, giving the kitchen a more elegant and balanced feel.
As part of the refinement, we also adjusted and refitted doors that had previously been sitting poorly, helping the kitchen feel properly finished as well as visually transformed.
The result is a calmer, more refined kitchen that feels beautifully suited to the home — preserving the quality of the original cabinetry while giving the space a much more considered finish.
