A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO KITCHEN RENOVATION
The kitchen you want might already be there.
A well-made kitchen can have years of life remaining, even when its appearance no longer feels right.
Perhaps the cabinetry is beautifully constructed, but the colour feels dated. The layout works, yet the worktops, tiles and hardware no longer sit comfortably together. Or perhaps a few carefully designed changes could make the space function and feel entirely differently.
A straightforward respray may not go far enough. A completely new kitchen may be unnecessary.
Kitchen Refinement offers another way forward.
We identify what is worth keeping, reconsider what no longer works and introduce new elements only where they will make a meaningful difference.
The result is not simply a kitchen that looks newer, but one that feels deliberately designed around the home.
TWO CONSIDERED ROUTES
The right level of change for your kitchen.
01. Kitchen Refinement
For kitchens that need more than a new colour, but whose underlying quality and layout are worth preserving.
We develop the design direction, specify materials, plan the agreed cabinetry and joinery changes, and coordinate the specialist trades required to bring the scheme together.
This can include cabinetry refinishing, replacement doors, new worktops, hardware, tiling, lighting, decoration and selected alterations.
One cohesive design. One coordinated project.
02. Cabinetry Refinishing
For kitchens where the cabinetry and layout work well, but the finish needs renewing.
We professionally prepare, repair and refinish existing cabinetry through specialist spray finishing or hand painting, selecting the appropriate approach for the construction, condition and character of the kitchen.
A carefully executed standalone service, with the same attention to craftsmanship and detail.
FEATURED KITCHEN REFINEMENT · RADYR
A disconnected kitchen, unified and softened.
Mouse’s Back · Radyr
The existing cabinetry, layout and black quartz were retained. A new palette, custom cabinetry details, lichen-toned tiles, antique brass and consistent architectural finishes brought the kitchen and conservatory together as one considered space.
OUR REFINEMENT FRAMEWORK
Keep what has value.
Change what no longer works.
01
Retain.
We begin by understanding how the kitchen is constructed, how it functions and which materials and features deserve to remain.
02
Refine.
Colour, cabinetry finish, hardware, worktops, tiles, lighting and decoration are considered together, rather than as separate decisions.
03
Remake.
Where existing elements are unsuitable, we can repair, adapt or fabricate selected doors, drawer fronts, panels and joinery to complement what remains.
